I am Richard S. Celeste. I used to teach marketing and entrepreneurship courses atMindanao State University, Marawi City.
Writing is one of the things I am passionate of doing. I started blogging a couple of months ago entitled I am Neorichcel - The Explorer and changed it to Pinoy Turista . It's a personal blog where I express some of my thoughts, experiences and aspirations. With my stay in Iligan City as a Master in Business Management student, I met a group of bloggers who are committed to promote Iligan City. From the first meet and greet, came Iligan Bloggers Society, an organization with a noble mission and vision. The initiated strategic planning encouraged me to createWOW Iligan!!! - my official blogsite to promote the City.
Personally, I find blogging as a very promising medium of sending across a message to everyone. In marketing parlance, it is considered as the emerging medium of marketing communication or simply promotion. As a faculty member of the Marketing Department in MSU, Marawi, this venture will help me teach further my students the importance of internet marketing through blogging and the use of the famous social networking site.
